Today we had a very official meeting with an agenda and everything. We made decisions and plans. All very exciting. Turns out, I'm the communications person. Who knew?
Recently, we've had an outing to the lofty heights of Borehamwood Civic Centre to perform for the Multi Disciplinary Team who seemed rather taken with us. We got chocolates and flowers which was the first time we'd been given anything and we were all rather touched. We're even going to try to keep the miniature rose alive at Colne House, which may prove to be an undertaking. Updates to follow.
Other than updates on our pot plantery, this page will be updated with news and upcoming events.
How we got to this point is summarised at length (yes, that's a thing. Or, at least, it is now.) over on the "A History of 'Nuts" page and we'd love it if you took the time to give it a look.
Having secured the funding for our next project, we're gearing up for that and looking forward to the workshops we have booked at Trestle. We've had one workshop with them previously so we know the high quality of what we'll be getting. We're also going to be investing in our own set of their masks. Sorry to overuse the word but exciting really does encapsulate the mood of the moment. Trepidation is also on the billing but stick this many people with anxiety in a group and nerves are going to wobble. Fortunately it is from that same group dynamic that we draw our strength.
We can do this. We're awesome. 'Nuff said.
