'Nuts had been asked to contribute to BBC Three Counties Radio's ProgrammeShrink Wrapped. The episode due to be aired on the 19th April at 1 pm, The Art of Recovery, is focused on how the arts can be used to 'get better'.
A clip of Kevin describing how a typical drama therapy session run by Gerald Maiello would go is available on the website, and below, if my ability to embed code is adequately close to 'competent'. In the clip, he goes on to describe one drama session that had stuck in his mind. Where he goes from there is as much a mystery to me, dear reader, as it is to you. That is until:
1 pm on Sunday the 19th April on Three Counties Radio.
On Thursday, our intrepid adventurer treasurer, Kevin Smith, headed off to darkest Luton (we ask all 'Nuts to face their personal nemesis in the name of great theatre) with many a cry of "come on you Horns!" [note: I believe this is a reference to the Watford FC Hornets football type football thing, chant,. It may well be that Kevin is an aficionado from the club and I don't think I would be too far from the mark to say that Gerald finds himself on the other side of the great divide, being somewhat fond of Luton Town, despite them being, well, Luton. We try to be understanding as he does have many sterling qualities and everyone's allowed the odd foible. Personally the only balls near feet that I have much interest in are the one made of wool with my knitting attached. But the it would be a funny old world if we were all the same, etc. Ooh, look a squirrel!]
I'll be doing my Web Guru best to update this post to provide a link to the full episode when it is available. It will be available after broadcast. Did I mention that is at:
